Obituary of Frank Alan Harvey

Frank Alan Harvey, age 53, of Buckhannon, WV died Friday, March 24, 2017 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. He was born October 30, 1963 in Upshur County, WV, a son of the late Benjamin Harmon and Thelma Louise Beckner Harvey. On May 12, 1996 he married Sherry Summers who survives. Also surviving is one daughter, Kindra Louise Harvey of Buckhannon; one son, Coalton Joshua Allen Harvey of Buckhannon; one step daughter, Natacha M. Summers-Hawkins of Buckhannon; three nephews, Jeffery Harvey and wife Lori Ulderidge and Christopher William Harvey all of Buckhannon and William Light and wife Tonya of NC; three nieces, Jonnie Lee Light of Mannington, WV, Kelly Dawn Harvey of Buckhannon and Brionna Harvey of Morgantown; five brothers, Benjamin Thomas Harvey, Dennis William Harvey and wife Marcia, Randal Scott Harvey and wife Tammy and Steven Jennings Harvey and wife Colleen all of Buckhannon and John Coleman Harvey and wife Hester of Hagerstown, MD and two step granddaughters, Madison “Papaw’s Parrot” Rochelle Summers-Hawkins and Melanie Rae Hawkins both of Buckhannon. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by infant son, Caleb Harvey and one sister, Terrie Lee. Frank was a Diesel Mechanic and attended the Horizons Church. Graveside service will be held 10 AM Monday, March 27, 2017 at the Pleasant View Church Cemetery in Hodgesville, WV with the Rev. Mary Ellen Finegan and Rev. Dave Cunningham officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant View Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers family request donations be made to help with funeral expenses.
