Obituary of Frances Ruth Wilt

Frances Ruth Wilt, age 78, of Buckhannon, WV died Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown, WV. She was born March 26, 1939 in Weston, WV, a daughter of the late Frank M. and Avis Ruth Lake Harper. On December 30, 1958 she was married to Forrest Wilt who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Forrest C. Wilt, Jr. and wife Marissa of Buckhannon and Steven Wilt and wife Tammy of Crittenden, KY; one daughter, Lora Anne Hubbard and husband Michael of Colorado Springs, CO; ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and one sister, Brenda Jean Howard and husband Jeffrey of NJ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Stanley Wilt; infant son, Jeffery Howard Wilt; one daughter, Melissa Wilt and two brothers, David and Donald Harper. Mrs. Wilt was a Family Outreach Worker for the WV State Health Department. She was an avid reader and a member of the Liberty Baptist Church in Buckhannon. Friends will be received at the Liberty Baptist Church on Friday, January 12, 2018 from 11 AM – 2 PM the funeral hour with Pastor John Burns and Pastor John Hinkle officiating. Burial will follow in the Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
