Obituary of Paul E. Adamy

Paul E. Adamy, age 77, of Buckhannon, WV died Sunday, May 7, 2017 at his home in Buckhannon. He was born August 12, 1939 in Webster County, WV, a son of the late Ernest and Hazel Cogar Adamy. On October 3, 1997 he married Boni K. Casto who survives. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Janice Holcomb and infant Brenice Adamy. He is survived by a son, Michael Adamy and wife Jennifer of Quicksburg, VA; a step-son, William Shawn Coakley and Annette Solet of Amhurst, OH; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a sister, Janet Hamrick of Scott Depot, WV; and a brother, Leon Adamy and wife Bunny of Webster Springs, WV. Mr. Adamy was a coal miner, a member of the Franklin Lodge #7 A.F. & A.M. of Buckhannon and attended Tennerton United Methodist Church. Friends will be received Tuesday, May 9, 2017 from 10 AM – 12 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow with Pastor Bob Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Laurel Fork Church Cemetery in French Creek, WV. The Franklin Lodge #7 A.F. & A.M. will conduct Masonic rites at the graveside. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to WV Hospice, 8 Hartman Plaza, Buckhannon, WV 26201. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
