Obituary of Linda Gail Epp

Linda Gail Epp, a resident of Buckhannon, WV, passed away Sunday, May 14, 2017 in her home after a long illness and failing health. She was born July 14, 1947 in Hendricks, WV. Linda is the daughter of the late Freddie G. Triplett and Stephen B. Rosier. She is survived by her two children, Eric Williams and wife Crystal Williams of Crawford, WV and Shelley Williams of Jane Lew, WV; four grandchildren Meghan, William, Hallie, and Madison Williams; two great-grandchildren Carter and Hudson Carson and her beloved cat Rosebud. Linda was one of few female coal miners in the late seventies. She then went on to attend West Virginia Wesleyan College and graduated in 1993 with a degree in nursing. After college she was commissioned as a lieutenant in the US Army Nurses Corp. After leaving the Army she worked as a nurse at Sharpe Hospital in Weston, WV were she later retired. Linda enjoyed spending time with her family, travelling and eating good food. She was a Baptist by faith. Her presence will be missed.
