Stacie Murphy, age 62, of Buckhannon, WV died Sunday, May 14, 2017 at the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV. She was born October 26, 1954 in Weston, WV, a daughter of the late Hayward James and Stacie Lois Messenger Murphy. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Cecil Allen Murphy. She is survived by one brother, James Edward Murphy; care giver, Mary Harper of Buckhannon and aunt, Gladys Rhinehart of Good Hope, WV. Ms. Murphy was a homemaker and a Methodist by faith. Friends will be received Wednesday, May 17, 2017 from 1-2 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home with funeral services beginning at 2 PM with the Rev. Donald Butcher officiating. Burial will follow in the Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon, WV. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
