Obituary of Audra Gray Farrar

Audra Gray Farrar, age 85, of Buckhannon, WV died Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital in Weston, WV. She was born April 15, 1932 in Wild Cat, WV, a daughter of the late Walter Guy and Garrnet Cooper Boggs. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Claude “Tab” Farrar; two brothers, Clarence and Junior Boggs; two sisters, Irene Fisher and Helen Peck and one granddaughter, Christina Wise. She is survived by her 2nd husband, Ronald Bennett of Buckhannon; one son, Rusty Farrar and Nita of Buckhannon; one daughter, Rhonda Wise and husband Ken of Waldorf, MD; one grandson, Kenny Wise of Waldorf; three granddaughters, Kimberly Wise-Welch and husband Andrew of Waldorf, Tracie Wise and Sam Fairfield of WI and Shonda Lynch of Buckhannon; two great grandsons, Alex and Logan Lynch both of Buckhannon; three great granddaughters, Ava and Taylor Lynch both of Buckhannon and Shawna Welch of Waldorf; two brothers, Keith Boggs of Ireland, WV and Kenneth Boggs of Jane Lew, WV; one sister, Pearl Shingleton of Ireland and several nieces and nephews. Audra was a Christian by faith and enjoyed gardening and quilting. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Sunday, May 21, 2017 from 4-8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 1 PM Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Chad Lewis and the Rev.
