Obituary of Audie Miller ​

Audie “Junior” Miller, age 87, of Volga, WV, died Monday, June 5, 2017 at his home. He was born May 26, 1930 in Webster County, WV, a son of the late Audie R. and Emma I. Hamrick Miller. On June 16, 1949 he married Jeanne Hammons who preceded him in death on September 6, 2013. In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by one son, Randy Lynn Miller; four brothers, Harley C., Arnett, Elzie and Reedus “Jake” Miller and two sisters, Maxine Pritt and Mary Garrison. He is survived by one son, Mark Steven Miller and wife Patty of Great Mills, MD; one daughter, Phyllis Ann Wetzel and husband Wally of Volga; one sister, Edna Miller of Sherman, NY; five grandsons, Randall Ian Miller of Virginia Beach, VA, Wallis “Chip” Franklin Wetzel and wife Jeannine of Canada, Zachary Winstead and Tara Cassidy of WV, Matthew Miller and wife Markita of MD and John Miller of MD and several great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Friday, June 9, 2017 from 4-8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 10 AM Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. J. Edward McDaniels and Pastor Johnny Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Beechtown Cemetery in Frenchton, WV. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
