Laura Lou Keister Goddard, age 69, of Jesup, GA formally from Rainelle, WV passed away Thursday, June 29, 2017 at the Golden Living Nursing Home in Jesup. She was born December 1, 1947 in Rainelle, WV a daughter of the late Carl and Rosalie Mann Keister. Surviving are her son, Shawn Goddard and wife Sara of Pompano Beach, FL; two granddaughters, Hannah and Samantha Goddard of Pompano Beach; a sister Nancy Keister Grubb and husband Don of Ellamore, WV; a brother, Mark Keister of Jekyll Island, GA and several nieces & nephews. Laura graduated from Rainelle High School with the class of 1965 and was a member of the Order of Rainbow for Girls. Laura loved animals, fishing and walking the beach of Little Cumberland Island in Georgia looking for shark’s teeth. Laura was a member of the Rainelle United Methodist Church. Friends will be received to celebrate her life and cherish her memories at a memorial service on August 5, 2017 at 12PM inside the Mausoleum at the Wallace Memorial Cemetery, 16155 Midland Trail West, Crawley, WV 24931.
