Obituary of Nancy Lundell Westfall

Nancy Lundell Westfall, age 79, of the Vicksburg community, Buckhannon, WV died on July 1, 2017, at Mon General Hospital after a battle with cancer. Nancy was the daughter of Vincent and Beatrice Lundell, formerly of Shinnston, WV. Nancy is survived by her husband of 59 years, Carroll B. Westfall. Surviving are one daughter, Rachel Westfall of Buckhannon and two sons, Kenneth Westfall and Trenton Westfall and wife, Cyndi Worden Westfall of Gormley, WV. Three grandchildren – Erica Mauck, Jessica Phillips, and Kent Westfall and one great granddaughter, Shelby Mauck, also survive. Surviving sisters are Sharon Ayers of St. Louis, MO MO & Marilyn Karickhoff of Franklin, NC. One brother, Rodger Lundell and wife, Shirley, of Buckhannon. One brother, James Lundell and one sister, Beverley Reed are deceased. Nancy was beloved Aunt to many nieces and nephews. She loved her family with all of her heart. Nancy Westfall was a homemaker and a Catholic by faith. Her home, her family, and her church were very important to her. Friends will be received Monday July 10, 2017 from 10 to 11 AM at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Buckhannon. A memorial mass will follow at 11 AM with Father Joseph McLaughlin as celebrant. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Mrs. Westfall’s honor to the Cancer Care Center at Mon General Hospital c/o The Foundation of Mon General Hospital 1200 JD Anderson Dr. Morgantown, WV 26505 or at www.mongeneral.com.
