Obituary of Lewis and Mary Emery

Lewis Carlton Emery, Jr. was born February 22, 1938 in Martinsburg WV and passed peacefully in his sleep holding hands with his wife of 56 years on February 22, 2016. Mary Andrick Emery was born October 31, 1936 in Buckhannon, WV and passed peacefully surrounded by family and friends on March 31, 2017. They both passed at Canterbury Villa of Alliance, OH, where they resided since 2014. Lewis was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis C. Emery, Sr. and Stella Barbara Davis Emery; his twin brother, Robert Davis Emery and an infant sister. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Corbin William Andrick, Sr. and Brenice Mae Bennett Andrick; four brothers, Corbin William, Jr., James Howard and Paul Wesley Andrick and twin brother, Joseph Russell Andrick. Lewis and Mary were survived by three children, Mary Elizabeth Emery of Powell, OH, Lewis Carlton Emery III and wife Kimberly of Alliance and William Andrick Emery of Bath, OH; two grandsons, Alexander Christian Emery and Dylan Carlton Emery and one great grandson, Carter Christian Emery who was born on his mother’s, Celia Thompson, birthday, June 30, 2016; both survived by one brother, Charles Edward Emery and wife Zoreh Afsarzadeh of both, Albuquerque, NM and Trocones, Mexico and Paul Lloyd Andrick and wife Katie of Hyattsville, MD and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Friends will be received for a memorial gathering on July 15, 2017 from 4 to 5 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 5 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in their names to either First Baptist Church in Alliance, OH or United Brethren (EUB) Church in Buckhannon c/o Rev.
