Obituary of Patsy Javins Linger

Patsy Javins Linger, age76, of Buckhannon, WV died Thursday, July 6, 2017 at Mansfield Place in Philippi, WV. She was born June 11, 1941 in Charleston, WV, a daughter of the late Ralph and Lenora Chetfield Javins. On July 10, 1968 she married Robert Wilson Linger who preceded her in death on December 17, 2014. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by five brothers, Paul, Dan, Bill, Jem and Hilpert Javins. She is survived by one son, Aaron Linger and wife Penelope of Pittsburgh, PA; one daughter, Alice Howard and husband Joe of Tallmansville, WV; three grandsons, Grayson and Zachariah Linger both of Pittsburgh and Andrew Howard of Queens, WV and three granddaughters, Olivia and Abigail Linger both of Pittsburgh and Rachel Howard of Queens. Mrs. Linger was a Teacher for the Upshur County Board of Education. She loved all her pets dearly and showing Quarter Horses. Friends will be received Wednesday, July 12, 2017 from 5-8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 11 AM Thursday at the Church of the Transfiguration with Father John Valentine officiating. Burial will follow at the Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon.
