Obituary of Clifford David Golden

Clifford “Bud” David Golden, Jr., age 75, of Buckhannon, WV died Friday, July 14, 2017 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. He was born June 29, 1942 in Lewis County, a son of the late Clifford David and Mary Ann Ratcliff Golden. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one infant son, Robert Lee Golden; one infant grandson, Brandon Starkey; one infant great granddaughter, Arianna Starkey and one sister. He is survived by his fiancée Donna Orsburn of Buckhannon; one son, John Glenn Golden of Utah; two daughters, Florence Starkey and husband Brian, Sr. and Anna Mae Golden all of Buckhannon; four grandsons, Ian and Adam Golden of Utah, Brian Jr. and Bret Starkey of Buckhannon; three granddaughters, Janae Golden of Utah, Brianna Starkey of Buckhannon and Ashley Reingold of Barbour County; six sisters; three brothers and two beloved dogs, Sally and Susie. Mr. Golden was a maintenance technician for the Lewis County Park. He was a Christian by faith. Friends will be received at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home Wednesday, July 19, 2017 from 11AM until 1PM the funeral hour with Rev. Wease Day officiating. Burial will follow in the Macedonia Cemetery in Buckhannon. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
