Elenetta Rae Sparks Hamrick, age 79, of Buckhannon, WV died Friday, July 14, 2017 at her place of residence. She was born on August 29, 1937 in Ivanhoe, WV, a daughter of the late William E. Sparks and Pearl Snyder Sparks Tenney. On May 28, 1960, she was united in marriage to Lester E. Hamrick, who has lovingly taken care of her since her stroke 15 years ago. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ednard E. Sparks and his wife, Lavonne; brother William B. Sparks and his wife, Phylis L. Corbitt; and one brother-in-law, Glen Bailey. In addition to her husband she is survived by one son, Stephen L. Hamrick; one grandson, Benjamin W. Hamrick; two sisters, Mrs. Gleneva (Clarence) Clutter of Buckhannon and Mrs. Shirley Bailey of Hinkleville; and one half-brother, Ronald L. Tenney and wife Jane of Hinkleville.
