Obituary of Leland Douglas Tenney

Leland Douglas Tenney, age 75, of King George, VA died Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Greenfield Assisted Living of Fredericksburg, VA. He was born May 22, 1942 in Upshur County, WV, a son of the late Leland and Wanda Hawkins Tenney. On June 25, 1960, he married Judy Campbell who survives. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Patrick Douglas Tenney and a brother, Dennis Gene Tenney. He is survived by a daughter, Vanessa Lynne Lovejoy of Fredericksburg; two brothers, Delmar Tenney and wife Darla and James Tenney all of Buckhannon, WV; three sisters, Katheryn Reed, Shirley Ann Reed and Linda Marie Keffer all of Buckhannon, WV and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Tenney was a press supervisor at Moore Business Forms and a Methodist by faith. Friends will be received Monday, July 31, 2017 from 2-6 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 11 AM Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev. J. Edward McDaniels officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Tallmansville, WV.
