Victoria M. Mathewson Victoria M. Mathewson Victoria M. Mathewson, age 78, of Ashland, OH, formerly of Medina, passed away September 7, 2015 at the Kingston of Ashland surrounded by her family. She was born in Webster Co., West Virginia on March 3, 1937 to the late Arthur and Bessie McCartney Peck. Victoria was employed by the Ohio Pythian Sisters Home in Medina, a job she truly loved and really enjoyed doing. She also enjoyed working in her yard, playing BINGO, and spending time with her grandsons. Victoria was a social butterfly during her time at the Kingston of Ashland, and was well liked and loved. Victoria is survived by her loving daughter, Cathy Hufenbach and husband Rex of Sullivan; grandsons Bryant, Matthew, and Noah; her step-son Dan Sage of Medina; brother Doy Peck and wife Mary Lou of Medina; her sister Dorothy McIe and husband Leonard of French Creek, WV; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, James Tenney in 1968 and 2nd husband, Larry Mathewson, in 2008; one infant daughter, Rhonda; one infant son, Harold and her brothers, Denzil, Hurlden, Amos, and Cecil Peck. Friends will be received Saturday, September 12, 2015 from 10 AM to 12 Noon the funeral hour at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home with Pastor Josie Tenney officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt.
