Obituary of George McCardle

George McCardle George Edward McCardle, Sr. George Edward McCardle, Sr., age 76, of Buckhannon, WV died Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon. He was born February 22, 1939 in Wheeling, WV, a son of the late Albert and Cora Anderson McCardle. On November 4, 1967 he married Violet Kitchen who preceded him in death on October 10, 2012. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Georgia Scott. Surviving are three sons, George McCardle, Jr. and wife Joann of Buckhannon, Joseph Cutright of Martin’s Ferry, OH and John Cutright and wife Kim of Moundsville, WV; two daughters, Elizabeth Pebley and husband Dave of New Freeport, PA and Vickie Cutright of Buckhannon; fifteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; three sisters Kathy Tustin and husband Bill of Dallas Pike, WV, Liz Cutler of CA and Hannah McCardle of Bridgeport, OH and several nieces and nephews.
