Lenna Mae McCartney Lenna Mae McCartney Lenna Mae McCartney, age 86, of Buckhannon, WV died Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at the St. Joseph’s Nursing Care Facility in Buckhannon. She was born November 15, 1928 in Walkersville, WV, a daughter of the late Troy G. and Retha G. Walton Myers. On March 24, 1952 she married Bobby Ray McCartney who preceded her in death on August 20, 2004. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by three brothers, Marvin Leonard, Lanty Lane and Dana G. Myers. Surviving are two daughters, Cynthia Ewing and husband Richard of Buckhannon and Deborah Raye McCartney of Ventura, CA; one granddaughter, Erin Albaugh Anderson and husband Mike of Buckhannon; one grandson, Joel Beckwith Ewing of San Francisco, CA; one great granddaughter, Hayden Page Anderson of Buckhannon and special friends Ron and Sandy Murphy of Buckhannon. Mrs. McCartney was an Executive Secretary at Point Mugu Naval Air Station and a member of the Wayside Southern Baptist Church in Buckhannon. Friends will be received Sunday, January 11, 2015 from 2-5 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held 11 AM Monday at the Buckhannon Veterans Cemetery in Buckhannon with burial to follow. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
