Obituary of Mildred Rexroad

RexroadMildred Mildred C. Rexroad Mildred C. Rexroad, age 86, of Buckhannon, WV died Monday, March 31, 2008 at St. Joseph’s Hospital NCF. She was born April 28, 1921 in Clarksburg, WV, a daughter of the late Earl and Arti Poe Nutter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John M. Rexroad who died on August 18, 1954; one son, John E. Rexroad; two sisters, Linda Nutter and Anna Jean Nutter and one brother, Edward Nutter. She is survived by three sons, Randy E. Rexroad and wife Charlotte of Moundsville, WV, Stephen K. Rexroad of Buckhannon and Stanley T. Rexroad of Buckhannon; one step-son, David Linger and wife Barbara of St. Paul, MN; three grandsons, Shaun Thomas Rexroad of Buckhannon, John Stephen Rexroad of Buckhannon and Franklin J. Rexroad of Moundsville; one granddaughter, Chelsea Catherine Rexroad of Morgantown, WV; one sister, Frances Sidars of Bridgeport, WV and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Rexroad was a homemaker, a member of the Chapel Hill United Methodist Church, a former member of Chapter # 18 Order Eastern Star, BPOE # 1736 Ladies Aux. Friends will be received Wednesday, April 2, 2008 from 5-8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 11:30 AM Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. Ellis Conley officiating. Burial will follow in the Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
