David James “Mac” McDonnell
David James “Mac” McDonnell, age 77, of Buckhannon, WV died Saturday, August 30, 2014 at Nella’s Nursing Home in Elkins, WV. He was born May 15, 1937 in Derby, CT, a son of the late James Vincent and Marion Elizabeth Crook McDonnell. He is survived by one brother, William Vincent McDonnell, Sr. of Seymour, CT and three nephews, Matthew McDonnell and wife Jacqueline of Oxford, CT, William Vincent McDonnell, Jr. of Shelton, CT and Patrick Frances McDonnell and wife Debra of Stratford, CT. “Mac” was a Catholic by faith and a member of Buckhannon Moose Lodge #598. Mr. McDonnell’s request for cremation has been honored and there are no services at this time. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
