Marple John R. Marple, age 56, of Buckhannon, WV, died Sunday, February 16, 2014 at his home. He was born March 10, 1957 in Buckhannon, a son of Izola White Marple of Buckhannon and the late Charles R. Marple. In addition to his mother, he is survived by one daughter, Laura Marple of Bridgeport, WV; one son, Brock Marple and wife Crissi of Buckhannon; one grandson, Conner Marple of Buckhannon; one granddaughter, Keira Klingensmith of Bridgeport; five brothers, Gary Marple, Richard Marple and wife Arveda, Charles Marple and wife Julia, Kenneth Marple and wife Charlene and Craig Marple and wife Sandy all of Buckhannon; several nieces and nephews and a companion, Sherry Gould of Buckhannon. John was a farmer. Friends will be received Thursday, February 20, 2014 from 5-8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 11 AM Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Rodney Heckert officiating. Burial will follow in the Friendship Cemetery at Jane Lew, WV. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
