Pamela Lea McCourt Pamela Lea McCourt Pamela Lea McCourt, age 54, of Tallmansville, WV died Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon, WV. She was born August 3, 1959 in Vienna, WV, a daughter of the late William John Dahlheim, Jr., and Joanna Dahlheim. On February 27, 1982 she married Joseph McCourt who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Jeremiah McCourt and wife Jamie of Buckhannon and Jonathan McCourt of Tallmansville; one grandson, Odin McCourt of Buckhannon; four brothers, Ronnie Jackson of Buckhannon, Robert Jackson and wife Tish of Volga, WV, William Dahlheim, III and wife Peggy of Buckhannon and Brad Dahlheim and wife Michelle of Volga; one sister, Teena Miller and husband Todd of Buckhannon and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Johnnie Jackson and David Dahlheim. Mrs. McCourt worked for the Upshur County Board of Education as a School Teacher. She was a member of the Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church. Mrs. McCourt was an avid basketball and softball player known as “Pickle”, she coached BU Middle school boys track and BU High School softball, and she also loved to trout fish and hunt. Pamela graduated from Marshall University and received her Master’s from WVU. A memorial service will be held at a later date for family and friends. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
