Obituary of Garnet Roberts

RobertsGarnet Garnet Irene Roberts Garnet Irene Roberts, age 82, of Buckhannon, WV died Monday, March 3, 2008 at Holbrook’s Nursing Home in Buckhannon. She was born October 13, 1925 in Frenchton, WV, a daughter of the late Ira and Edna Tolliver Heavner. On October 29, 1946 she married Ira Pearl Roberts who preceded her in death on March 18, 1963. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, James Heavner, Basil Heavner, Burton Heavner and three sisters, Pearl Heavner, Billie Gregory and Avis Brimlow. She is survived by one daughter, Linda Roberts of San Diego, CA; one son, Raymond Roberts of Polk City, FL; two grandchildren; two brothers, Faye Heavner of Ireland, WV and Thomas Heavner of Diamond, OH; and two sisters, Cletus Marsh of Akron, OH and Juanita Nuzum of Buckhannon. She was a waitress and a Methodist by Faith. Friends will be received at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home Friday March 7, 2008 from 10 AM-12 PM the funeral hour.
