Obituary of JoAnne McCue

untitled3 Joann McCue Joann McCue, age 81, of Buckhannon, WV died Friday, December 28, 2012 at her home. She was born November 15, 1931 in Lewis County, WV, a daughter of the late Okie Dale and Eva Mae Weaver Goldsmith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Alfred D. “Monk” Phillips; 2nd husband, Ellis H. McCue; one daughter, Patricia Phillips Queen and one brother, Jack Goldsmith. She is survived by one daughter, Debra Shreve and husband Kevin of Elkins, WV; three sons, Steven Phillips and wife Kay and Benny Phillips and wife Robin all of Buckhannon and Kerry Phillips and wife Tammy of Cambridge Springs, PA; two grandsons, Dustin Phillips and Joseph Queen and wife Lorna all of Buckhannon; seven granddaughters, Lyndsey Phillips, Crissi Marple and husband Brock, Heather Liggett and husband Mitch and Angie Gould all of Buckhannon, Kayla Phillips and Shelly Barley both of Cambridge Springs and Toni Shreve of Elkins; eleven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. McCue was a Personal Caregiver and a Christian by faith. Friends will be received Monday, December 31, 2012 from 6-8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 2 PM Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at the funeral home with the Rev. David Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Peterson Cemetery in Weston, WV.
