untitled1 Harold Sullivan McDonald Harold Sullivan McDonald, age 79, of Baltimore, MD died Thursday, October 21, 2010. He was born January 8, 1934 in Parsons, WV, a son of the late William and Bessie Johnson McDonald. On December 5, 1953 he married Doris Loraine McIntosh who preceded him in death on July 22, 2004. He is survived by four daughters, Lori A. Hines and husband Fredrick whom he lived with for seven years, Patricia A. Roberts, Vicki J. Carbaugh and Beverly J. Wimer; two brothers, Robert L. and Ronald R. McDonald; three sisters, Wanda Poling, Greta Schunter and Lola McNew; grandchildren, Marco and Kaleigh Clark, Melissa and Daniel Roberts, Angela Hanshaw and Melinda, Joseph and Cody Wells; many great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Genieva Leisner, Angelo Mullenax and William McDonald, Jr. and one grandson, Charlie Carbaugh. Mr. McDonald went to school in Parsons. He served in the US Army and was an employee of Continental Can in Baltimore. Friends will be received Wednesday, October 27, 2010 from 10 AM until 12 Noon at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 12 Noon at the funeral home with the Rev. Don Knotts officiating. Burial will follow in the Parsons City Cemetery. Buckhannon VFW Post #3663, Frank B. Bartlett Post #7 American Legion, DAV Chapters #5 & #36 will conduct military honors at the graveside. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
