untitled1 James Donald Marson James Donald Marson, age 64, of Buckhannon, WV died Saturday, September 11, 2010 at his home. He was born June 12, 1946 in Charleston, WV a son of the late Harry Marson II and Dorothy Click Marson. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Harry Marson III and two sisters, Hilda Cottrell and Lovis O’Donnell. He is survived by one daughter, Elizabeth Dawn Lattimer and husband Brian of Buckhannon; twin granddaughters, Peyton and Kayla Carlyle of Buckhannon and granddaugher, Reagan Lattimer of Buckhannon; sister-in-law, Marion Marson of Boca Raton, FL and also several nieces and nephews. He was a mechanic/electrician for Upshur Coals Corporation, a member of the First United Methodist Church, Franklin Lodge # 7 AF & AM, Chapter # 18 Order of Eastern Star, Scottish Rite and 32nd Degree Mason, Frank B. Bartlett Post # 7 American Legion, Osiris Temple of Wheeling, B.P.O.E. Lodge # 1736 and Vietnam Veterans of America Organization. Friends will be received at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home Wednesday, September 15, 2010 from 6-8 PM where B.P.O.E. lodge #1736 will conduct a service at 7:30 PM. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Billee Scott Mick officiating. Burial will follow in the Beverly Cemetery at Beverly, WV. VFW Post # 3663, Frank B. Bartlett Post # 7 American Legion, DAV Chapters # 5 & # 36 will conduct Military Honors at the graveside, Franklin Lodge # 7 AF & AM will conduct graveside Masonic Rites. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
