MartinLenaRuth Lena Ruth Ours Martin Lena Ruth Ours Martin, age 95, of Buckhannon, WV died Monday, September 22, 2008 at St. Joseph’s NCF of Buckhannon. She was born August 31, 1913 in Falls Mill, WV, a daughter of the late Frantz and Luverna Cobb Veith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Parley Ours who died on November 22, 1950 and 2nd husband, Maurice Martin who died on March 3, 1988; one son, John Mack Ours; one daughter, Betty Jean Dye; five brothers, Oliver, Okey, Ray, Fred and Grant Veith and three sisters, Nora Black, Rosa Knicely and Vergie Hamilton. She is survived by two grandsons, Jon Nicholas Ours of Clarksburg, WV and James Thomas Dye and wife Lisa of Bushland, TX; two granddaughters, Kathryn Ann Lucente and husband Tony of Clarksburg, WV and Suellen Dye Wilkins and husband Randy of Tallahassee, FL; three great-grandsons, Jonathan Carpenter of Clarksburg, Joshua Dye of Bushland and Benjamin Wilkins of Tallahassee; one great-granddaughter, Brooke Wilkins of Tallahassee; one great-great-granddaughter, Aberielle Carpenter of Clarksburg; two sisters, Naomi Harlow of Adrian, WV and Emma Tenney of Buckhannon and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Martin was a bank teller for Central National Bank. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Friends will be received Thursday, September 25, 2008 from 5-8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 PM at the funeral home with the Rev.
