MathewsonLarry Larry Ross Mathewson Larry Ross Mathewson, age 65, of Medina, OH died Monday, May 5, 2008 in Medina. He was born January 12, 1943 in Lodi, OH, a son of Jeanne Elizabeth Rouse Palmertree of MS and the late Ross Erwin Mathewson. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Victoria May Peck Mathewson of Medina; one son, Daniel Sage of Medina; on step daughter, Cathy Hufenbach and husband Rex of Sullivan, OH; grandchildren, Bryant, Matthew and Noah Hufenbach; four sisters, Estella Brualdi of FL, Mabel Alborihare and husband Harry of LA, Pearl Worley of FL and Mary Lou Peck and husband Doy of Medina; three brothers, George Mathewson and wife Lynn of FL, Russell Mathewson and wife Debbie of FL and Henry Mathewson of FL; four half-brothers and four half-sisters. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by one brother, Freddie Mathewson and one half-brother. Mr. Mathewson retired after 38 years of service with Wellman Friction Products. He was one of the biggest Elvis fans and enjoyed all country music. Friends will be received at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home from 1-3 PM, Saturday, May 10, 2008. Funeral services will be held 3 PM Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Mt. Union Church Cemetery in Tallmansville, WV.
