Obituary of Henry Moran

MoranHenry Henry L. “Tater Bug” Moran, Jr. Henry L. “Tater Bug” Moran, Jr., age 80, of Buckhannon, WV died Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at his home. He was born on September 23, 1927 in Century, WV a son of the late Henry Moran, Sr. and Gertrude Smith Moran. He married Joyetta Black on July 21, 1951 who survives. In addition to his wife he is survived by one daughter, Antoinette Maxson and husband Jeff of Volga, WV; three brothers Jack Moran of Century, Tom Moran of Philippi, WV, and Harry Moran of VA; and special niece Jacqueline Haddix of Volga. Mr. Moran was a coal miner for Beth Energy, and attended Way of Holiness Church. He was a member of the Franklin Lodge #7 AF&AM, Scottish Rite of Clarksburg, a 32 Degree Mason, and a member UMWA Local #4172 District #31. Friends will be received Thursday, April 17, 2008 from 6-8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 11 AM on Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Jerry Murrell officiating. Burial will follow at the Mt. Vernon Memorial Cemetery in Philippi. Online condolences ay be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
