Obituary of Vickie McCartney

McCartneyVicki Vicki D. McCartney Vicki D. McCartney, age 52, of Buckhannon, WV died Friday, September 28, 2007 at Holbrook’s Nursing Home. She was born October 30, 1954 in Lewis County, WV, a daughter of Harley Collins of Buckhannon and the late Emma Belle “Kitty” Lamb Collins. In February of 1977 she married Howard J. McCartney who preceded her in death on July 31, 2001. In addition to her father, she is survived by aunt, Helen Burkhammer of Buckhannon and several other aunts and uncles. Vicki was a Nurses Aide at Holbrook’s Nursing Home and was a member of the First Baptist Church. Friends will be received Sunday, September 30, 2007 from 5-8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 10 AM Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Richard McGuire officiating. Burial will follow in the Peterson Cemetery at Weston, WV.
