Barbara Marks, age 81, of Belington, WV died Tuesday, November 28, 2006 at her home while under the care of Mountain Hospice. She was born November 23, 1925 at Regensburg, Germany, a daughter of the late Johann Baptist and Karolina Wagner. On August 8, 1948 she married Leo Marks who preceded her in death on July 12, 1980. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. She is survived by one niece, Joy Shingleton of Buckhannon, WV; one nephew, Maurice Tenney, Jr. of MD and special friends, Debbie Orouke of Canton, OH and Herman and Mary Tallman of FL. Mrs. Marks was a Deputy Sheriff in Barbour County and a Catholic by faith. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
