LanhamAudra Audra Armelia Lanham Audra Armelia Lanham, age 84, of Buckhannon, WV died Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at Holbrook’s Nursing Home in Buckhannon. She was born May 31, 1931 in Hall, WV, a daughter of the late Harvey B. and Myrtle Williams Wentz. On November 29, 1953 she married George James Lanham who preceded her in death on October 30, 2013. Surviving are one son, Ross W. Lanham and wife Joy of Elizabeth, WV; one granddaughter, Colleen Lanham of Athens, WV; one step granddaughter, Anessa Dille of Elizabeth; one step grandson, Jason Roberts and fiancé Brandy of Elizabeth; six great grandchildren; one sister, Louella Hansford and husband Gary of Buckhannon; two sisters-in-law Tina Lanham of Williamsport, MD and Sylvia Regester and husband Garry of Buckhannon; one brother-in-law, Arthur Lanham of Elkton, MD; several nieces and nephews and her cat, Princess. Mrs. Lanham was a homemaker. Audra was a member of the Mt. Nebo United Methodist Church, a charter and honorary member of the Mt. Nebo United Methodist Church Women and of the Mt. Nebo CEOS. Friends will be received Thursday, August 13, 2015 from 3-8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 1 PM Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Ralph Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Buckhannon, Memorial Park in Buckhannon. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
