Bernard Lipps Visitation 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM Tuesday, June 24, 2014 Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home Funeral Service 2:00 PM Wednasday, June 25, 2014 Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home Burial Pleasant View Church Cemetery Bernard Jay “Bernie Mac” Lipps Bernard Jay “Bernie Mac” Lipps, age 48, of Buckhannon, WV went home to be with the Lord while under the care of People’s Hospice, Sunday, June 22, 2014. He was born August 11, 1965 in Buckhannon, a son of the late Riley and Annabell Spore Lipps. On October 29, 1995 he married Mary Jane Landis who survives. Also surviving are on son, David Lipps of Buckhannon; two step sons, John and Chris Dean of Buckhannon; one grandson, Domanic James Lipps of Weston, WV; one granddaughter, Lillian Paige Lipps of Buckhannon; two sisters, Mary Perrine of Century, WV and Faye Zirkle of Beverly, WV; five brothers, Blaine Lipps of Buckhannon, Ernie Lipps of Gassaway, WV, Woody Riffle of Buckhannon, Dan Lipps of Buckhannon and Riley Lipps of Century; his best friend, Chris Esquer of Buckhannon and a special friend, Erica Wright of Lost Creek, WV. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son, Jonathan Lipps, two sisters, Barbara Cottrell and Annamae Lipps also two brothers, Danny Lipps and Delmas Riffle. Bernie was a custodian for WVWC. Friends will be received at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home, Tuesday, June 24, 2014 fro 4-8 PM. A funeral service will be held 2 PM Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Jerry Murrell officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant View Cemetery at Hodgesville.
