Ruth Langbein Ruth B. Langbein Ruth B. Langbein, age 73, of Buckhannon, WV, died Monday, June 2, 2014 at her home in Buckhannon. She was born November 21, 1940 in Doddridge Co., WV, a daughter of the late Martin Luther and Nina E. Nicolson Devericks. On January 26, 1959 she married Ernest Langbein who survives. Also surviving are three sons, Ernest H. Langbein, Jr. and wife Diane of Egg Harbor Township, NJ and Okey F. Langbein and girlfriend Dawn Alderman and Fredrick M. Langbein and fiancée Delora Lee all of Buckhannon; three grandsons, Joshua Langbein of Buckhannon and Dale and Benjamin Langbein both of Egg Harbor Township; one granddaughter, Jessica Marie Langbein of Egg Harbor Township and four brothers. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers. Mrs. Langbein was a baker at the Western Steer Steakhouse in Weston, WV. She was a member of the Elks Lodge #1736, the Moose Lodge # 598 and the VFW Women’s Aux #3663. She loved spending time in her flower garden and watching her birds. Ruth was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and dearly loved spending time with her family. The family would like to send a special thanks to Delora Lee and Dawn Alderman for the special care they gave Ruth during her time of need and to all those who took the time to get to know her. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
