Obituary of Dorothy J. Lewis

Dorothy J. Lewis Dorothy Jean Lewis Dorothy Jean Lewis, age 69 of Buckhannon, WV died Thursday, March 27, 2014 at her home. She was born April 16, 1944 in Morgantown, WV, a daughter of the late Edward and Jean Ramey Teets. On March 19, 1963 she married Thomas Lee Lewis who preceded her in death on September 13, 2006. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sons Robert Allen Lewis and Thomas Lee Lewis, Jr. She is survived by two daughters, Drema Mutum of Fairmont, WV and Lisa Thompson and husband Steve of TN; one son, Daniel Ray Lewis and wife Leann of MO; nine grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren and three brothers, Edward Teets, Jr. of KS and George and James Teets both of Fairmont. Mrs. Lewis was a homemaker and Methodist by faith. Friends will be received Wednesday, April 2, 2014 from 5 to 8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 1 PM Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Josie Tenney officiating. Burial will follow in the Upshur Co. Memorial Park in Tennerton, WV.
