Obituary of Dorris J. Bonner

untitled1 Dorris Junior Bonner Dorris Junior Bonner, age 68, of Buckhannon, WV died Saturday, September 11, 2010 at his home in Buckhannon. He was born September 5, 1942 in Buckhannon a son of the late Charles Morgan and Lola Dove Wilfong Bonner. Mr. Bonner is survived by three daughters, Frankie Bonner Chewning of Buckhannon; Melissa Thompson and husband Lewis of Virginia and Sabrina Mathes and husband Mike of Rock Cave, WV, four sons, Kenneth Bonner and wife Cathy of French Creek, WV, Donnie Bonner and wife Debbie of Adrian, WV, Lonnie Bonner of Adrian and Joseph Bonner and wife Janet of Frenchton, WV; eighteen grandchildren; one great grandchild two brothers, Darrell Bonner and wife Marie of Buckhanonn, William Bonner and wife Steffie of Middleburg, Fl; one sister, Helen Mullens of Zanesville, OH; companion and caregiver Trudy Crislip of Buckhannon, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters Lola Norman and Janice Campbell and one granddaughter, Nikita Bonner. Mr. Bonner was a security guard for the prison system and attended the New Life Tabernacle Church. Friends will be received Tuesday, September 14, 2010 from 12-1 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 1 PM Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Randy Bonner officiating. Burial will follow at the Bailey Cemetery. Buckhannon VFW Post # 3663, Frank B. Bartlett Post # 7 American Legion, DAV Chapters # 5 & # 36 will conduct military honors at the graveside. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
