Funeral Service Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at 11 AM Funeral Home Burial Rock Cave Cemetery Ida Virginia Linger Ida Virginia Linger, age 90, of Buckhannon, WV, died Friday, March 1, 2013 at Holbrook’s Nursing Home in Buckhannon. She was born June 26, 1922 in Braxton County, WV, a daughter of the late Ernest and Gertrude Canfield Wheeler. On December 15, 1956 she married William H. Linger who preceded her in death on November 14, 1997. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Noel and Robert Wheeler. She is survived by one daughter, Rosemary Huffman and husband Gary Crites of Buckhannon; one grandson, John Huffman and wife Jennifer of Burleson, TX; one great granddaughter, Hannah Bell of Burleson and three great grandsons, A.J., Koby and Guerlain Huffman all of Burleson. Mrs. Linger was an Operator for B & O and C & O Railroads and had done volunteer work at the St. Joseph’s Hospital. She was a member of the Chapel Hill United Methodist Church in Buckhannon. Friends will be received Tuesday, March 5, 2013 from 10-11 AM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 11 AM Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Ronald M. McCauley officiating. Burial will follow in the Rock Cave Cemetery in Rock Cave, WV. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
