Obituary of Janet Lee Lewis

untitled2 Janet Lee Lewis Janet Lee Lewis, age 83, of Buckhannon, WV died Sunday, November 13, 2011 at Holbrook’s Nursing Home in Buckhannon. She was born September 3, 1928 in Buckhannon, a daughter of the late Tim and Annie Bartlett Lewis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother Cline Lewis and one nephew, Rodney Lewis. She is survived by one nephew, Timothy Lewis of Fort Levinsworth, KS. Ms. Lewis was a social worker in Newark, NJ. She served in the US Army during the Korean War and was a Methodist by faith. A graveside service will be held 1 PM Saturday, November 10, 2012 in the Veterans Chapel with the Rev. Jackie Dorsey officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Baptist Cemetery in Buckhannon, WV.
