untitled1 Violet “Dolly” M. Lloyd Violet “Dolly” Lloyd, age 73, of Buckhannon, WV died Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon. She was born January 6, 1936 in Cox Mills, WV, a daughter of the late Clark and Alta King Butcher. On October 20, 1958 she married Bernard C. Lloyd who survives. Also surviving are three daughters, Dorothy E. Sesco of Rock Cave, WV, Donna S. Martin of Buckhannon, and Darlene M. Tomey and husband Paul of Buckhannon; 11 Grandchildren and 2 great- grandchildren; two sisters, Clara Wert and husband Fred of Millersburg, PA, and Jenny Masko and husband Andy of Warren, OH; two brothers, Fred Butcher and wife Betty of Lake City, FL and Guy Butcher of Newton Falls, OH and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one daughter B. Carol Lloyd; one grandson, Brandon T. Sesco five brothers, Kenneth, James, Hobert, Russell and Charles Butcher, and one sister Mary Butcher. Mrs. Lloyd was a seamstress at Dunn Manufacturing and a member of the Ladies VFW Auxiliary of Elkins. Friends will be received 7-9 PM on Friday, June 12, 2009 at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. She will lie in state from 10-11 Saturday at the Mt. Lebanon Church in Buckhannon with services to follow at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Junior Harris officiating. Burial will follow at the Mt. Lebanon Church Cemetery. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
