Obituary of Edgar B. Lowe

LoweEdgar Edgar Benson Lowe Edgar Benson Lowe, age 89, of Buckhannon, WV died Sunday, June 17, 2007 at his home. He was born May 25, 1918 in Huntersville, WV, a son of the late Rev. Arthur Wilbert and Anna Grace Benson Lowe. On August 25, 1942 he married Jane Guthrie who survives. Also surviving are a son, John A. Lowe of Buckhannon; a Daughter, Linda L. Ogden and husband Howard of Hinkleville, WV; a grandson Dean Ogden and wife Kanay of Prestonburg, KY; a granddaughter, Heather A. Ogden of Hinkleville; a great granddaughter, Shelby Ogden of Prestonburg; a sister Algana Guthrie of Buckhannon and several nieces and nephews. Edgar was a plumber and electrician for Shannons Hardware, a member of Nays Chapel United Methodist Church and served in the Army Airforce during World War II. Friends will be received Wednesday, June 20, 2007 from 4 to 8 PM at Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 2 PM Thursday at the funeral home with Rev. Harold Langevin, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Union Church Cemetery at Tallmansville. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
