Obituary of Gilbert Wesley Knight

Gilbert Wesley Knight Gilbert Wesley Knight, age 64, of Buckhannon, WV died Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. He was born January 3, 1952 in Gilmer County, WV, a son of the late Glen and Mamie Fisher Knight. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary Ryder Knight; one brother, Kenny Knight and five sisters, Susie Goodwin, Hazel and Mildred Knight, Elsie Smith and Judy Heater. He is survived by two sons, Gilbert Wesley Arnett of Ashtabula, OH and Robert Vincent Heater of Buckhannon; two daughters, Lisa Kay Knight of Buckhannon and Jeanna Marie Arnett of Ashtabula; nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild; three brothers, Dale Knight and wife Rosie of Buckhannon, Chuck Knight of CA and Gale Knight of OH and two sisters, Virginia Moore of TX and Myrtle Shipman and husband John of Buckhannon. Mr. Knight was a member of The Way of Holiness Church. Friends will be received Monday, April 11, 2016 from 12 Noon until 2 PM at The Way of Holiness Church. A funeral service will be held 2 PM at the church with Pastor Jerry Murrell officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
