Obituary of Nadine V. Knight

Nadine Knight Nadine V. Knight Nadine V. Knight, age 88, of Buckhannon, WV died Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at Holbrook’s Nursing Home in Buckhannon. She was born April 15, 1927 in Custis, Braxton Co., WV, a daughter of the late Elbert Salis and Mary Elizabeth Hosey Knight. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by five brothers, Wade, Tracil, Leonard, Jack and Lionel Knight and four sisters, Madeline and Kelsey Wilson and Tabitha Skidmore and Erma Lucky. Surviving are one son, Virgil Miller and wife Susan of Buckhannon; three grandsons, Shawn Miller and Shane Miller and wife Pam all of Philippi, WV and Tyler Miller of Buckhannon; three great grandsons, Corey and Kaiden Miller both of Buckhannon and T.J. Miller of Philippi; two great granddaughters, Madisson Miller of Buckhannon and Beverly Miller of Philippi and one brother, Dorn Knight of Fredericksburg, VA. Ms. Knight was a cook for the Webster County Sheriff’s Department. Friends will be received Friday, October 16, 2015 from 11 AM to 1 PM the funeral hour at the Poplar Ridge Community Church in Braxton Co. with Pastor Brian Sinclair and the Rev. Russell Shaw officiating. Burial will follow in the Poplar Ridge Church Cemetery in Braxton Co. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Parish House, 68 College Ave. Buckhannon, WV 26201.
