Obituary of Linton Charles Karickhoff

Linton Charles "Shorty" Karickhoff Visitation Tuesday, February, 11, 2014 6-9 PM Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home Linton Charles “Shorty Karickhoff Linton Charles “Shorty” Karickhoff, age 76, of Buckhannon, WV died Friday, February 7, 2014 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon. He was born May 5, 1937 in Upshur Co., WV, a son of the late Harry C. and Dora Lower Karickhoff. On February 15, 1958 he married Velma George, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Tim Karickhoff and wife Mary of Buckhannon and David Karickhoff of NM; one grandson, Zackary Karickhoff and wife Kim of Buckhannon; one granddaughter, Brittany Woody and husband Daniel of Buckhannon; one great granddaughter, Alanis Karickhoff of Buckhannon and one brother, Marvin Karickhoff and wife Iris of FL. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one infant daughter Kathryn Karickhoff and one sister, Patty Secott. Mr. Karickhoff was Methodist by faith and worked at PPG in Nutterfort, WV and Badger Coal Co. and retired as an equipment operator for the Department of Highways.
