Obituary of Geraldine Kittle

untitled2 Geraldine Kittle Geraldine Kittle, age 87, of Buckhannon, WV died Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at Holbrook’s Nursing Home in Buckhannon. She was born December 4, 1924 in Buckhannon, a daughter of the late Going and Maud Elizabeth Cochran Cutright. On September 26, 1942 she married James C. Kittle who survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Carol Marie Broadwater of LaPlata, MD; one son, William James Kittle, Sr. and wife Diane of LaPlata; one brother, Robert Cutright and wife Betty of Elkins, WV; two grandsons, Christopher James Broadwater and James Kittle, Jr. both of MD; three granddaughters, Anne Marie Cianciolo, Deanne Dorothy Dobson and Carmela Anne Ringgold all of MD and twelve great-grandchildren, Chelsee, Anthony, Camden, Tanner, Vincente, Marco, Sofia, Alyssa, Julie, Nicholas, Austin and Abigail all of MD. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Ralph Cutright and one sister, Mary Alice Bittle. Mrs. Kittle was a private secretary and office manager. She was baptized by Rev. Don Butcher at the Sand Run Baptist Church in 2007. Friends will be received Wednesday, December 7, 2011 from 6-9 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held 2 PM Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Donald Butcher officiating. Burial will follow in the Buckhannon Veterans Cemetery in Buckhannon.
