Obituary of Vera D. Kelly

untitled2 Vera D. Kelly Vera D. Kelly, age 97, of Buckhannon, WV died Friday, September 16, 2011 at Holbrook’s Nursing Home in Buckhannon. She was born November 1, 1913 in Buckhannon, a daughter of the late Parley and Iva Foster Cutright. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Ruhl Loudin and 2nd husband, George R. Kelley, Jr. and one sister, Stada Nay. She is survived by three sons, Clifford Loudin and wife Louann of Buckhannon; Richard Loudin and wife Mary and Arnold Loudin and wife Cindy all of Hagerstown, MD and ten grandchildren and many great and great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Kelly was a seamstress for Reidboard Brothers. She was a member of the Sand Run Baptist Church and the Buckhannon VFW Post # 3663 Ladies Aux. She loved quilting, crocheting and gardening. Friends will be received Tuesday, September 20, 2011 from 1-2 PM at the Sand Run Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Tuesday at the church with the Rev. Robert Poling and the Rev. Donald Butcher officiating. Burial will follow in the Sand Run Baptist Cemetery.
