KochenourSamuel Samuel “Sam” Charles Kochenour Samuel “Sam” Charles Kochenour, age 77, of Greenwood, SC died Sunday, May 10, 2015 at Hospice House. He was born April 30, 1938 in Buckhannon, WV, a son of the late Samuel Andrew and Ruth Virginia Been Kochenour. Surviving are his wife, Joyce Kochenour; one daughter, Deanna Kay Schuelke and husband William of Marietta, GA; a grandchild, William Samuel Schuelke of Marietta; one nephew, Jerry Wayne Lewis and wife Kristi of NC; one niece, Charla Maness and husband Doug of NC; two great nephews, Maddox and Austin Lewis of NC; one brother-in-law, Jerry “Herk” Wayne Lewis of Mebane, NC; and several cousins. Sam retired from Moore Business Forms, where he was a mechanic, and machinist. He served in the US Army National Guard for 8 years, was a member of the Buckhannon Volunteer Fire Department for over 20 years, and was a Methodist by faith. Friends will be received Monday, May 18, 2015 from 5-8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 1 PM Tuesday at the funeral home with Pastor Ed Lowther officiating.
