KelleyWillard Willard L. “Bill” Kelley Willard L. “Bill” Kelley, age 81, of Buckhannon, WV, was in failing health but death was unexpected, died Thursday, October 30, 2008 at his home. He was born July 19, 1927 in Elkins, WV a son of the late Clarence and Beatrice White Kelley. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by step father, Lewis Barrickman and sisters, Norma Wamsley, Shirley Zavatsky, Bernedine Feathers and Emmett Barrickman. He is survived by his wife, Margaret; step son, Donnie Ross & wife Cathy; step daughter, Melanie Wells and husband Jim; daughters, Kathy Elliott and Patricia Peno; step granddaughters and grandchildren. Bill was a member of Masonic Temple, Buckhannon Rotary, Chamber of Commerce, First United Methodist Church, Buckhannon Housing Authority of which he was a founding member, a member of the WV Auto Dealers Association, a member of St. Joseph’s Hospital board of directors, Lions Club and many civic organizations and a former member of the Upshur Development Authority. He was a former co-owner with Bill McKnight of an ice cream store and mobile home sales. Mr. Kelley owned and operated Bill Kelley Chevrolet on Main St. Buckhannon for many years and recently Kelley Motors in Elkins, WV. Friends will be received Saturday, November 1, 2008 at the First United Methodist Church in Buckhannon from 4-9 PM. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Sunday at the church, with the Rev. Dr. Damon Rhodes and the Rev. Billee Scott Mick officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. State Memorial Gardens in Elkins, Monday at 2 PM.
