Obituary of Burtsil Quick

QuickBurtsil Burtsil Dane Quick Burtsil Dane Quick, age 76, of Buckhannon, WV died Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. He was born May 17, 1931 on Big Sand Run in Upshur County, WV a son of the late Roma J. and Nina Nora Gooden Quick. On October 2, 1954 Burtsil married Gertrude Nancy Suder who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Ruth A. Riggs and husband Jessie of Caledonia, MS; a grandson, Evan Riggs of Caledonia; a granddaughter, Amy Riggs of Caledonia and a brother, James Quick of MI. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sons, Roger and Harold Quick, one daughter, Linda Quick and four brothers, William Roscoe, Merritt, Harrison and Donald Quick. Mr. Quick retired from West Virginia Wesleyan College Maintenance Department and was a Methodist by faith. Friends will be received at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home Friday, February 29, 2008 from 5-8 PM. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev.
