Obituary of John Henry Jones

untitled3 John Henry Jones John Henry Jones, age 85, of Buckhannon, WV, died Saturday, March 24, 2012 at his home. He was born October 31, 1926 in Fayette County, WV, a son of the late Clyde and Lora Wright Jones. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Eunetia Jones. Surviving are his special caregivers, Charlene Linger, Karla Bailey, Susie Chapman and Keith Howes; two brothers, James and Roy Jones of Buckhannon; and one niece, Edith Zimmerman of Rainelle, WV. Mr. Jones was a Christian by faith, coal miner, drill hand and a veteran of WW II. Friends will be received at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home Monday, March 26, 2012 from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Poling officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olive Church Cemetery at Hinkleville, WV. Buckhannon VFW Post # 3663, Frank B. Bartlett Post # 7 American Legion, and DAV Chapters # 5 & # 36 will conduct Military Honors at the graveside.
