Obituary of Annette R. Hiedemann

Dr. Annette R. Hiedemann, age 79, of Buckhannon, WV died Sunday, February 7, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. She was born April 16, 1936 in Cologne, Germany, a daughter of the late Egon and Brigitte Von Kapff Hiedemann. She is survived by one brother, Robert Hiedemann and wife Paula of Richmond, VA; one niece, Barbara Mizrahi and husband Larry of Brattleboro, VT; two great nephews, Thomas and Henry Mizrahi both of Brattleboro; numerous friends, neighbors and former students and two cats. Dr. Hiedemann was a Professor at WVWC from 1968 to 1994. She was a member of the Greybeard Club, Emeritus Club and the Bridge Club. Friends will be received Saturday, February 13, 2016 from 10 AM -12 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 12 PM on Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. Steven Tuell officiating. Burial will follow in the Buckhannon Memorial Park in Buckhannon. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Pittsburgh Eye Foundation: The Eye and Ear Foundation, 203 Lothrop Street Suite 251 EEI Pittsburgh, PA 15213; or at http://eyeandear.org/.
