Glenn Edward Hinkle
Glenn Edward Hinkle, age 74, of Buckhannon, WV died Sunday, October 25, 2015 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. He was born May 24, 1941 in Buckhannon, a son of the late Harold and Geneva Potts Hinkle. On May 25, 2001 he married Karen Kile who survives. Also, surviving are two sons, Tim Hinkle and wife Julie of Athens, GA and Steven Hinkle and wife Susett of Joliet, IL; one daughter, Tanya Hinkle of Leary, OH; two step daughters, Brenda Turner and husband Dave of Jane Lew, WV and Toni Hose and husband Robert of Parkersburg, WV; twelve grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Robert Hinkle of FL; two sisters, Wanetta Fleenor and Shirley Leaseburge and husband Edso all of FL and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one step daughter, Donna Jean Starr; one sister, Betty Jo Davisson and one brother in law, Jim Fleenor. Mr. Hinkle served in the US Army during Vietnam. He was a lifetime member and Chaplain for the American Legion Post #29 in Elkins, WV. Mr. Hinkle worked for the Ford Motor Company and was a member of the Living Word Church of God. Friends will be received Wednesday, October 28, 2015 from 5-7 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 10 AM Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Frank Spears officiating. Burial will follow in the Little Arlington Cemetery in Elkins.
